turns into action, and ideas grow into real impact.
Why It Matters
Afghanistan's youth are resilient, creative, and determined — but they face a future shaped by conflict, climate crisis, economic uncertainty, and shrinking access to opportunity.
Millions of young people in Afghanistan are ready to contribute to their communities. Yet too often, they lack the tools, spaces, and support systems to turn their ideas into action.
AYA exists to change that.
We believe youth are not just beneficiaries of change — they are its most powerful drivers.
That is why AYA is built to:

Reach Youth Everywhere
Even offline or with limited resources

Youth-Led Progress
Rooted in action
When youth rise, communities rise. When their ideas are supported, solutions are born. When their voices are heard, futures begin to shift.
AYA is not just a platform. It is a movement for youth-led progress — rooted in Afghanistan, powered by action, and open to the world.
Who Created AYA?
Afghan Youth Action (AYA) was co-created in 2024 by Afghan youth, educators, and technologists with deep roots in humanitarian education, community leadership, and digital access.
From the very beginning, AYA was built with youth, not just for them.
During its design phase, AYA worked with 8 young volunteers who shaped the platform's vision, content, and approach — ensuring it truly reflects the needs and dreams of Afghan youth.
Voice from Afghan Youth
AYA gave me more than skills — it gave me a voice. I never thought I could start a project in my village, but now I know I can lead change.
